I don't normally cover things I own in stickers. Despite that, I was inspired by the 'itasha' culture of cars covered in anime decals to do something a little unique myself. Whilst I haven't got round to putting decals on my car yet, seeing an option for portable hard drive stickers on SkinIt made me choose to customise my Western Digital Passport drive. SkinIt is an online shop where you can choose a skin for the device of your choice and then customise it with your own images.
I choose an image of Ouka-chan from a Nitro+ game for my skin. She's a pretty uncommon character but I have an awesome Nendoroid of her in my collection and felt she'd look great on this skin. I think the contrasting black, white and orange suit this really well. It's certainly better than the scuffed black gloss finish it had before. So will I customise anything else? Probably not, as I can't imagine using a laptop or a phone with a skin like this and not feeling a little embaressment. But this looks pretty cool and I'll be happy to carry it around with me!
